Since 1990, EUROTRANS has worked in over twenty-five countries spanning four continents.
Most of our research and business has naturally been carried out in France and Britain, due to the location of our headquarters in both these countries.
In North-West Europe,
Works have mainly dealt with new maritime lines towards Scandinavia or North Africa, transport economics, spatial planning, or air transport, based on EU-supported projects.
On other continents,
Most of our works revolves around maritime projects feasibility studies, like ship generated waste treatment units, fuel terminals in Ivory Coast… EUROTRANS is positioning worldwide on feasibility studies, equipment and transport services mounting projects, and multimodal logistics parks. Preliminary engineering works are regularly carried out in Africa and in the Middle-East for fuel depots, liquid bulk terminals, and pipelines.
In the overseas territories…
The consultants have a deep knowledge of insular economies. It allows them carrying on reference economic studies such as the implementation potential study on regional business parks in La Réunion (Bourbon Island). Works also deal with maritime transport between islands in Guadeloupe Archipelago, freight and passenger transport development, airport fuel farms feasibility, fuel distribution logistics.
Since 1990, EUROTRANS has worked regularly in France’s main economically and logistically active regions.
The density of work is high in the bigger regions like Paris, Nord-Pas de Calais and the Mediterranean regions as well as Brittany and Normandy.
In the Nord – Picardy area,
EUROTRANS carried out maritime lines and port terminals feasibility studies in Dunkirk, Calais and Boulogne/Mer, or for freight forwarders. Studies also contributed to the Regional authority positioning on Logistics (euralogistique) and to the development of logistic real-estate. There were also missions leading to the setting up of Delta3 platform, Harnes and Paris-Oise inland ports, and the SNE canal.
In the Great West,
EUROTRANS Consultants acted in strategic studies for the regeneration of Brest and Lorient naval shipyards, of the Seine-Sud industrial zone in Rouen, in research and development of shipbuilding activities in Lorient and Saint-Nazaire, in the feasibility of new port terminals now in operation in Lorient (hydrocarbures, agro bulk, materials…) and in launching new maritime lines and airlines towards Lorient.
In the Great East,
Works dealt with brownfield site regeneration on the Moselle corridor, and with European spatial planning and transport strategy in Eurocorridor regions. Organization and feasibility studies also contributed to the upgrading of Ports of Mulhouse-Rhin and Basel-Mulhouse Airport.
In Ile de France (Paris) region & on the Seine Axis,
The economic development strategy of Seine axis in the framework of Great Paris is a work of reference, and the feasibility of inland ports and terminals on the Seine river with the DATAR as well. Development studies also contributed to the upgrading of Ports Authorities in Rouen, Le Havre, Cherbourg and Caen-Ouistreham. In the air sector, EUROTRANS led numerous missions on freight development in CDG Airport (now 1st European airport for freight) and on fuel stations feasibility in Le Bourget Airport.
In Auvergne Rhône Alpes & South of France,
EUROTRANS acted in airport master planning and operation subcontracting in Clermont-Ferrand airport, in Port Sud de France or rail terminals development studies, and in equipment feasibility studies in Lyons and Nice Airports.
