2006: Positive again (12/06/07)

After a short period of stability following the european policy difficulties, EUROTRANS Partners renew with growth. The demand was particulary good in ports and interland waterways feasability studies.

The economic development studies are more important to support active local policies.

The medium size companies increase their demand of strategic advises and studies facing more competitive and globalised markets.

 

2003: Positive for Expertise & Diversification (19/02/04)

EUROTRANS Partners 2003 was similar as the previous year for tunrover and profit. EUROTRANS Partners growth significantly in expertise and diversification.

The three divisions have same financial results but with impressive amount of high level studies and missions realised during the year.

EUROTRANS Partners HUBS & PORTS realised à lot of studies in Maritime sector (France-Spain mediterannean link, Atlantic arc, Ports of Lorient and Cherbourg 2020 planning....) with positive operationnal results like the lanch of a new RORO line between France and Danmark. In the UK, EUROTRANS Partners was involved in the Interreg program for new maritime links between Scandinavia and Scotland. For Land Transport, EUROTRANS Parters worked mainly in France with the River Ports of Mulhouse (3) and The North of France River ports (133) development planning and Eurotunnel site development.

For airport and airline sector, the year was very active despite the actual crisis. EUROTRANS Partners realised operation audit of the International Cargo Airport of Paris-Vatry, development plan for Lorient, spacial planning for Lille-Lesquin Airport. Airlines contacts were made to establish new lines between France, UK and Ireland. n Airmobility.org national seminar was organised in association with Air France Consulting about best practices for Airports and Sustainable development.

EUROTRANS Partners DEVELOPPEMENT develop its business for local govenrment with business parcs feasability and sector studies for St-Omer and Lille.

An innovative research on logistic sector impact on territories was done with the financial support of the French Energy Agency.

The year was also great for touristic projects. We realised a positive opportunity study for an attraction theme park on mobility, transport and telecommunication. This park could be the second of France behind Disney in 2007.

The european regional studies based on Interreg program were not so important as previous years. The demand of operational studies is getting down.

EUROTRANS Partners MANAGEMENT

We still provide quality consulting (mainly for road transport and removal).

EUROTRANS Partners realised specialised logistic consulting mission for big flow generators business like agriculture in France (In Vivo) petroleum products in Morocco and Brtanny (Depots and Pipes for Samir, petroleum wharf in Lorient....).

We provided also strategy and management consulting services to major international companies like Dalkia (Services), SDV (Transport) mainly focused on their investment on ports & hubs and logistic parks and markets.

Our friend and collegue David SNOWMAN passed away in 2003 and we regret him as a human and sensitive Transwin Ltd manager.

Big projects that we studied in the past are now in process. Delta 3 the major french combined transport terminal is now open and we are happy to work now as permanent technical assistance (2004-2007) to buildt a similar project in Lorraine (East of France near Luxembourg). Future is on the way.

 

EUROTRANS Partners Export Development (12/02)

2002 was a good year for EUROTRANS Partners Export business.

In addition to our usual business in France and in the UK we had interesting business in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Morroco.

In Scandinavia we worked mainly on short sea shipping Feasability studies.

In Marroco we worked on Petroleum logistics prospective to prepare the privatisation and the sector liberalisation.

We are proud to get these business in competition with bigger worldwide consulting company.

We have now to continue this export development during the next years.

EUROTRANS Partners has got a new logo & brochure (07/02)

The new EUROTRANS Partners brochure want to be closer to the actual needs of our customers. Our three Consulting know-how (Management, Expertise Hubs & Ports, Development) are now divided in 6 update themes.

The research, studies, advises and technical assistance service are divided in 6 categories :

TERTIAIR Management becomes SAS EUROTRANS on 1/4/02

A SAS company organization is today more suitable to answer to the need of the group.

This transformation is done to be able to associate more partners, staffs in the company to increase the efficiency of the network.

This high standard organization may facilitate the European development and give more confidence for new customers.

The research, studies and consulting business are for the moment concentrate in France (80%) and we follow the objective to increase the theme and international diversification.
